Welcome to the Friends of Trowell School page. My name is Kate Carter and I am the recently-appointed chair of the group and Mum to Rohan in Class 2.
Friends of Trowell School is a small volunteer group established in 1994 with the vision that that everyone, especially the children within the Trowell community, could raise money and have fun in supporting the school.
Over the years, parents, carers, teachers and pupils have got together through Friends of Trowell School to organise fun-packed events and raise money for our school.
Through these fundraising efforts of the Friends of Trowell School, the school has been able to acquire many books, games and other resources to support the children’s learning.
We are developing an exciting programme of events and activities for 2009-2010 and are currently consulting with pupils, parents, carers, staff and governors about the types of Friends of Trowell School activity they wish to see in the future.
